BRIEF
Create an original work that evokes an emotional response from the viewer. This project should show experimentation, self-expression, and pursuit of an individual aesthetic. It should be suitable for entry in experimental animation festivals and/or inclusion in a professional demo reel.
SYNOPSIS
Countless battles are fought within our minds on a daily basis. Often characterized by the different voices, sounds and images that clash against each other as we struggle to form our identity and realization of self.
APPROACH
To express the chaos/order that exists within the mind, I chose to go for a monochrome black and white style. Supported with voiceover and a music track that express the heaviness of negative thoughts, and the hope that comes after the struggle.
