Bring a quote to life through animation; enhance and expand the understanding of the original quote.
We believe access to the spoken word gives us a unique glimpse into the historic, political and cultural history of the world we share.
STYLE
Based on a famous quote from the celebrated artist, Van Gogh. His signature painting style was a big inspiration for the overall look. Mostly achieved by a collage of his most famous artworks.

After feedback and critique, the client chose to go with the second direction: Van Gogh quote and the love-hearts
1ST PASS NOTES
- Storyboards felt too simple, develop concept further
- Keep love hearts, but presented in a different way
REVISION PASS NOTES
- Sync hand and hearts movement better
- Edit hand textures & enhance the Van Gogh aesthetic
2ND PASS NOTES
- Change texture on the hands + extend them past screen
- Sync hand and hearts movement better
- Simplify and bring in more of the Van Gogh feel to it
FINAL PASS
- Vincent Van Gogh feel feels better
- Future edit; perhaps different camera angles
